Nothing cures insomnia like the realization that it’s time to get up. ~Author Unknown

I really need to work on my bedtime. I am the worst about getting myself to go down for the night. Which is sad, because I really love sleep. For whatever reason, when bedtime rolls around though, I start acting like a cranky four year old, and come up with every excuse in the book not to go to bed. I don’t do anything productive with the time spent staying up; I usually sit in silence, laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling, or swiveling around in my desk chair staring into space.

It’s absolutely the worst habit of mine and biggest waste of time.

Then, I’m so tired in the morning, I sit and hit the snooze button for over an hour and end up in a huge rush to get out the door.

I really wish I was a morning person. I like the morning so much better than the night, too. Yet, I can’t seem to get my internal clock to agree.

A short-term goal: start getting to bed before 10:00 pm.
