a new year

May all your troubles last as long as your New Year’s resolutions.  ~Joey Adams

Happy New Year!

I spent the holiday up in Breckenridge with the besties. We danced, laughed, played some old drinking card games none of us had played since college, and then, in a more age appropriate manner, we all went to bed right after the countdown at midnight.

Since arriving home yesterday, I haven’t spent much any time off the couch. I feel really unproductive and lazy, but the alone time and the rest was much needed to regroup before returning to work, and the first full 5-day work week in a long time, tomorrow. Work . . . boo!

I’ve been thinking about 2011 and my hopes and resolutions . . . I have a good feeling for this year and I am going to hang on to that attitude for as long as possible. I just want to continue focusing on my new financial plan, work to eat healthier, put myself out there and date more, and aim to stay happy.

So, we’ll see how this year plays out . . . an awful lot can happen in 12 months and I’m looking forward to the ride!
